Pre War Cars @ Collie Motorplex

A group of like minded people who own pre war cars and spend the day at the track doing laps, lunch and laughs.
They love a chat and showing people their old relics .
Anyone is welcome to come along for a look and may even get a passenger ride in one.
Free entry for spectators.

Collie River Trail parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5km walk, jog or run.
Starting from Soldiers Park at 8am every Saturday, the course is two loops of the Collie River Trail from bridge to bridge. This volunteer-run event is open to all.
Register at www.parkrun.com/register, print off your barcode and you are ready to participate in any parkrun worldwide.
Prams welcome, one dog on a short lead, children under 11 must be within arms reach of an adult.

Goods Shed Markets @ Old Railway Goods Shed

Classic country markets in the Old Railway Goods Shed building. The building was designed by CY O’Connor and built in 1898.
It was restored between 1997 and 1999 by the Collie Heritage Group Inc.
Today it houses fortnightly markets selling, handmade items, jewellery, second hand books, bric a brac, fresh produce, sheep poo, gemstones and crystals, plants, wooden toys, jams and pickles, eggs, clothing, sausage sizzle and more.

Worsley Alumina Mining Rehabilitation Tour @ Boddington Bauxite Mine @ Saddleback Gatehouse, 7134 Pinjarra

Come and join the South32 Worsley Alumina team and learn about the rehabilitation at the Boddington Bauxite Mine.

Please wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and closed in shoes for entry to the mine.
Terms and Conditions of entry to site:
1. Visitors must be accompanied by a company representative at all times.
2. Visitors must sign the visitor log book upon arrival, read the terms and condition of entry and wear a visitor pass and visitor vest.
3. Visitors shall not use a camera of any nature without approval from Worsley.
4. Safety helmets and eye protection are provided upon arrival and must be worn, except when inside an office building or hard canopy vehicle.
5. Visitors must wear appropriate clothing which includes long pants, long sleeve collared shirts and enclosed footwear.
6. Visitors enter the site at their own risk and shall fully indemnify Worsley against all damage, injury or loss caused by negligence or misconduct of visitor.

Collie Country Markets @ Collie Show Grounds

The Agricultural Markets have many stalls displaying such goods as fresh produce, homewares, books, toys, jewellery, accessories, baked goods, local crafts, local art and much more.
The kitchen is open with a sausage sizzle, tea, coffee and cool drinks all available to purchase.
Special market events include:

Mothers Day Market – 4th May
Art & Craft Fair – 1st June
Fathers Day Market – 7th September
Christmas Market – 7th December

Proceeds from the markets assist the Collie Agricultural Society.
